Job Title: Sales Operations Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

  • To evaluate and organize sales and distribution operations, develop and implement sales and distribution processes and use data analysis to resolve problems and maintain their progress.

Responsibilities

  • Instituting and tracking sales goals
  • Analyzing market trends
  • Producing and maintaining sales reports
  • Presenting and distributing data interpretations
  • Evaluating the work performance of sales representatives
  • Making recommendations to the marketing and sales departments
  • Support sales compensation process for the Business Development team by configuring plans, templates, and systems.
  • Maintain the sales compensation database to ensure that all data required for all plan participants are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensures monthly and quarterly sales compensation reconciliations using Excel and various tools.
  • Recommend changes to streamline the commission reporting process and systems for timely and accurate payments.
  • Interface with sales management to review and examine data to ensure sales reps are accurately credited for their sales transactions.
  • Review of metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to assess productivity and determine trends
  • Responding to help requests submitted by the Sales Managers
  • Attend internal business development calls and meetings to discuss new opportunities and the overall sales pipeline.
  • Maintain reporting to ensure accurate data is being utilized.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc in Sales, Business Management or other related fields
  • Must have 3-5 years in similar roles
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly must have demonstrated advanced skills using Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written skills
  • Must be familiar with maintaining and managing a customer relationship database (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Good time management skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to demonstrate persistence.
  • Must have a great organizing skills.
