Multipro Consumer Products Limited is the largest company in Nigeria dealing in Sales, Haulage and Logistics. MCPL was founded in 1996 as a fully owned company of the Tolaram Group. The first product sold by MCPL in 1996 was Indomie and since then it has played a seminal role in making Indomie a household brand in Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Training Coordinator (Quick Service Restaurant)

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Training Coordinator will be responsible for managing the development and execution of brand SOP's, with a primary focus on providing training systems to employees at Cafe-level across all levels.

Job Description

  • Maintains the appropriate number of trained employees in all stores.
  • Provide train-the-trainer for store manager’s management training curriculum.
  • Monitor and follow up with Operations Manager and Area Manager to ensure proper utilization of training manuals, and also provide updates to Area Manager on progress within the area.
  • Visits stores on a regular basis totrack and monitor trainee performance and progress
  • Ensurestraining manualsare completed and recorded in trainingreport template, and also certify employees upon completion
  • Schedule, coordinate andhold trainingsessionsfor Chefs, Assistants and Managers.
  • Coordinate with the Training Manager to obtain new product roll-out materials, new procedures, job aids, etc
  • Schedule and deliver new product roll-outs and procedures training to Ops Manager & Area manager.
  • Track and monitor new product and procedure roll-out training completion and monitor results.
  • Provide remedial training as appropriate based on operational assessments or other identified needs.
  • Coach GM’s to assess, address and resolve training issues as well as assist Area Manager in developing their skills.
  • Monitor and assess training completion and history of all Assistants, Chefs, Managers.
  • Assesstraining history, informsthe Training Manager of deficiencies,and recommendscorrective action.
  • Complete all weekly, period and quarterly reporting as directed by Training Manager.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience required (Experience in Quick Service Restaurant will be of advantage)
  • Training experience in a multi-unit environment with a dispersed workforce
  • 2+ years of formal training experience required
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Outstanding motivation skills and positive attitude required
  • Outstanding presentation skills required
  • Ability to schedule, coordinate, and monitor multiple activities (“multi-tasking”)
  • Capability with MS Office applications (Word, Excel,Powerpoint)
