We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Business Operations Manager
Division / Department: Business Transformation Group DIRECT
Reports: None

Job Purpose

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy for the company, to increase brand awareness, improve customer engagement, and drive website traffic.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing a social media content calendar, including creating original content and curating relevant third-party content.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and business development, to ensure that social media activities are aligned with overall business goals
  • Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
  • Actively respond to and engage customers / clients on inquires, comments etc. on all the company’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.) in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with influencers and other industry partners to increase brand visibility and reach
  • Staying up to date on the latest social media trends and best practices, and adopting the company’s social media strategy as required
  • Preparation and communication of frequent newsletters on key ideas, activities of feedback of the business.

Other Duties:

  • Any other relevant administrative duties and projects assigned by your line manager.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Weekly reports on all social media activities and key next steps
  • Creative and highly engaging contents posted across company’s social media platforms daily i.e., images, videos, quiz / trivia etc.
  • High engagement rate on articles and posts
  • Minimum 25% monthly follower growth across all social media platforms / accounts
  • Minimum of two newsletters every moment
  • Improved traffic to company’s website
  • Actively measure and report on conversion rate from followers who visit website from social media platforms and carried out a desired action
  • Ensure brand sentiment always remains positive and drives public opinion least three days before final submission to the client.
  • Maximum of 2% error from all contents posted in a month
  • Dedicated campaign to build and sustain momentum towards the proposed customer service week conference and activities schedule for first week of October 2023
  • Participate in the training of team members to ensure alignment of organizational goals, timely feedback on required information and branding materials etc.
  • Maximum of one rework on any project due to gap in project requirements.
  • At least 95% satisfaction feedback from team members (this includes Managing Director).

Qualifications
Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Second-Class Bachelor’s Degree in any related field but preferably from Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Business from a Federal, State or Private University
  • A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of two years’ (post NYSC) experience in a similar role
  • Expert knowledge of the different (and relevant) social media platforms, analytics software, and techniques
  • Expert knowledge of other data analytics and visualization tools i.e., Power BI will prove an added advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Highly organized, ability to think critically and write reports.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently as well as within a team.
