- This is a strategic role where you will work with the CEO and lead a team of professionals to design, build and roll out our digital banking products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product roadmap and backlog for all digital products
- Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
- Partner with the executive teams to identify key capabilities needed as well as identify potential issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritisation
- Partner with the Technology team to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure that the team delivers all capabilities on time and per expectation.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements
- Scoping and prioritising activities based on business and customer impact.
- Driving product launches through collaboration with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role with a solid experience in conceptualising, developing and launching products on time using a design thinking approach.
- Demonstrable experience working with Digital Banking products is highly preferred (eg internet banking, Faster payments, mobile apps, Blockchain etc)
- Consumer financial services industry experience and strong understanding of Digital business, while experience with travel, lifestyle or other consumer product development is a strong advantage.
- Strong product management experience in digital companies with a customer-focused, results-based approach and ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Have a solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Technical mindset, paired with strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills and the confidence in your experience to champion your ideas.
