We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Modern Trade Sales Representative and Merchandiser

Location: Alagbado, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The role of the Merchandiser is to ensure that the shelves of a retail store are stocked with products and displays them accordingly for customers.
  • Merchandiser are responsible for tracking the product inventory levels, report any issues of expiry or shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with stores account officer/contact person to raise new order and follow up with payments.

Detailed Job Description

  • Merchandiser will be assigned 25 stores and it is expected that all stores are visited in a week (5 stores Per Day).
  • Monitoring Sales Activities of all products during visitation to a store and the stock level should be checked.
  • Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
  • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately on the shelves and dump bins.
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs of competitors.
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
  • Remain up to date with company’s best practices.

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum of OND in any Discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in similar position

  • Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, sound judgment and tact
