We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Lagos

Description

  • We're looking to hire a Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage the human resources function within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process, including advertising job openings, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
  • Leading and managing employee relations, including addressing complaints, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive employee engagement
  • Managing employee performance and development, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Managing employee benefits and compensation, including ensuring compliance with legal requirements and overseeing the administration of benefit plans
  • Leading and managing employee relations, including addressing complaints, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive employee engagement
  • Managing employee retention and turnover, including developing strategies to reduce turnover and increase employee satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices to inform HR strategy and decision-making
  • Communicating with senior management to provide updates on employee relations and HR initiatives.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • CIPM/SHRM is an added advantage
  • 5-7 years’ relevant experience in a similar role in a reputable organization.
  • Strong, leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Proactivity and analytical abilities
  • The ability to multitask
  • A good understanding of the latest HR trends and best practices are essential.
