We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Expressions of Interest: Long-Term Consultant to Support the Implementation of IDEV, Division’s Work Program - IDEV

Location: Bank’s Head Quarters in Abidjan
Consultant type: Individual Consultant
Job Family: Evaluation
Department issuing the request: Independent Development Evaluation.
Duration of the assignment: Twelve (12) months.
Tentative Date of commencement: 15 April 2023

Brief Description of the Assignment

  • The assignment is expected to include the following activities: Undertaking components/activities of IDEV.2 Division’s work program, which includes thematic, sector, corporate, country evaluations and impact evaluation.
  • This will require literature and documentation review, data collection, econometrics analysis, evaluation report writing and presentation, technical peer review of evaluation outputs, dissemination, and outreach, etc.
  • The assignment will also include activities to enhance evaluation culture in the Bank, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bank’s evaluation function.

Establishment of the Shortlist
The selection of shortlist will be based on an assessment of CVs using the following standard criteria:

  • General qualification and suitability for the assignment (30%)
  • Experience in development evaluation and work experience relevant to the assignment (50%)
  • Experience with international donor agencies 10%
  • Language capacity (5%)
  • Experience in African countries (5%)
