Job Title: Digital Marketer

Job Brief
- The Digital Marketing Manager would be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
- He/She would plan and execute all digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Job Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Developing and executing the company’s digital marketing strategy
- Creating digital marketing activities calendar in line with the company’s marketing objectives, brand strategy and social media strategy
Website Management:
- Manage the e-commerce store by uploading pictures of new arrivals and removing out-of-stock items.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Updating WordPress plugins, APIs, and other website security features.
- Ensure the renewal of website hosting licensing fee and SSL certificates.
Search Engine Optimization:
- Updating website with blog contents
- Optimizing the Google MyBusiness account of the business
- Creating backlinks for the brand on the blogs of online fashion magazines and blogs
- Carrying out website indexing and mapping
Search Engine Marketing:
- Promoting products, services and content via digital channels (excluding social media), in a way that is consistent with the company’s brand and digital marketing strategy
- Managing a budget to be spent on promoting pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
Creative Designs:
- Create still and motion graphic design contents with Adobe suits or Canva in line with the company’s brand strategy.
- Carrying out video editing, white board animation for specialized video contents.
Email Marketing:
- Automate and implement email marketing campaigns such as first-time buyer, newsletters, promotional offerings, etc.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Configure email personalization and ensure the segmentation of subscribers
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
SMS Marketing:
- Implement SMS marketing campaigns
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
Research:
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Research competitors’ pricing and products
Stakeholder Mgt.:
- Collaborating with colleagues from across marketing departments to ensure branding is consistent
- Meet with clients and other stakeholders (such as the marketing manager. These meetings may involve pitching potential marketing campaigns.
- Set up shops with online retail channels such as Junmia, Konga and Amazon.
Reporting:
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Keeping track of data to identify and define audiences and also analysing the performance of the digital marketing strategies
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports to your supervisor.
