Applied Engineering Technology Initiative (AETI) - We are an engineering consulting company, whose focus has been on rendering the following services: Technical Training, Recruitment of technical Personnel, Outsourcing of Technical Personnel and rendering engineering consulting services to the Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, engineering services, Hospitality Industry, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Learning Consultant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • The Job holder will need to be a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a passion for Training & Learning delivery and relationship management.
  • You will be responsible for the Client’s Training Needs Analysis, Curriculum Design, Delivery and Administration of ongoing learning and development programs across all teams to support client’s operational excellence.
  • A key requirement of this role is the ability to generate business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses whilst building and maintaining strong client relationships to strengthen and grow existing accounts.
  • Sound knowledge of Training Needs Analysis and Curriculum Design
  • Responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of client training and development programs in-house and across client sites.
  • Executes training programs based on the needs and objectives of clients’ business
  • Responsible for developing documentation to support learning.
  • Coordination, development and administration of pre- and post-training activities, including testing, certification and coaching/reinforcement efforts in support of development.
  • Develop or select teaching aids, such as training workbooks, participant guides, videos, hands on e-learning tutorials and reference materials
  • Leads and coordinates service-related projects and activities to ensure continuous quality improvement initiatives via training initiatives
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

Requirements

  • Minimum of First Degree in Human Resource, Personnel Management, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or other related courses.
  • MBA in HRM will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years related experience especially in Training Institutions.
  • Relevant Professional Certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong business development skills in a target driven environment is compulsory Experience of working within a consultancy or client services environment.
  • Proven ability to develop curriculum from concept to fruition, meeting Partner objectives and deadlines.
  • Ability to schedule and coordinate training classes to ensure knowledge is learned by identified timelines.
  • In-depth understanding of adult learning principles and training philosophies to ensure utilization of a variety of vehicles which leads to increased knowledge retention.
  • Development of training programs based on needs assessment results or identified service opportunity preferred
  • Shown expertise using instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles and blended learning strategies.
  • Experience handling multiple projects under tight time constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, with experience of drafting detailed
  • Strong consulting, communication and influencing skills, including confidence in managing key stakeholders.
