Job Brief

  • The Business Analysis School, an EdTech learning academy, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Appointment Setter/Sales Development Representative to join our growing team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, reaching out to potential leads, and setting appointments for our sales team.
  • Your efforts will help non-tech professionals pivot into the tech industry through Business Analysis, Product & Project Management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential clients in the tech industry and generate qualified leads
  • Reach out to prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and social media platforms to introduce Business Analysis School's offerings
  • Set appointments for the sales team to meet with potential clients and discuss their needs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies
  • Track and document all outreach efforts in our CRM system
  • Nurture relationships with potential clients to increase the likelihood of converting leads into sales
  • Meet and exceed monthly appointment setting and sales development goals
  • Attend team meetings and provide feedback on lead generation efforts, market trends, and potential areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to better serve prospective clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, appointment setting, or telemarketing role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Comfortable making cold calls and engaging with potential clients via various communication channels
  • Knowledge of the EdTech industry and tech-related roles is a plus
