We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Compensation & Benefit Officer

Location: Warri, Delta

Job Summary

  • The Compensation & Benefit Officer will be expected to handle all employee's compensation and benefit packages in line with the organizations compensation and beneift policies.
  • The job Holder is expected to oversee employee compensation and benefit, administrating employee rewards,perks and benefits.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure organization compliance with statutory legislations and organizational Policies (Pay equity)
  • Use various techniques to make Data based decisions on Financial. Non-Financial, and indirect financials compensation
  • Participate in salary &labor markets surveys to determine the prevailing pay rates as it relates to various job roles and benefits
  • Provide reports on payroll and conduct periodic payroll audit before the stipulated date.
  • Design and implement various reward and recognition programs geared towards staff retention and engagement
  • Responsible for payroll administration in accordance with approved remuneration and benefit packages
  • Utilize the various HR Softwires to compute employee’s compensation packages.
  • Promote various compensation schemes and incentive models
  • Design incentives models in alignment with organizational goals and strategies
  • Track HR compensation and benefit metrics.

The Person

  • A Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) Degree in any relevant Social Science or Business degree is required for this role.
  • Minimum of 3 years HR work experience preferably in the Healthcare industry or FMCG sector.
  • A working knowledge of relevant National Labour Laws is required for this role.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies such as CIPM and any other relevant bodies is desired for this role
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft office packages
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, business presentation and people relations skills.
