Job Title: Marketer

Job Responsibilities

  • We are currently seeking to employ a result driven marketerto actively seek out and engage industrial/corporate customer prospects selling our company's products and creating competitive advantages for our company in the plastic manufacturing industry.
  • We need an individual who can multitask and is able to accomplish tasks well. A person who can generate unique sales plans, create engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature, developing pricing strategies, and meeting marketing and sales human resource objectives.
  • The sales and marketing executive represents the company's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Manage and execute the brand image of the company.
  • Promoting the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitiveactivities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report competitive market conditions. Provide insight for openings to market and sell our products and services.
  • Manage and execute the preparation, issuance, and delivery of marketing materials including: websites, sales collateral, graphics, exhibit properties, advertising, and promotional programs.
  • Manage, and operate within approved marketing budgets supporting overall business plan.
  • Administer and execute the company customer satisfaction survey, analyze and recommend actions based on status of individual customers or groups of customers.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising while keeping abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Any other assignment that may be given from time to time by superior officers.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven cognate experience in Marketing or Sales in Nigeria. Experience in plastic industry is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive businessprofessional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Good innovative and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and write copy for marketing materials.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage design of marketing materials.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule - be on the field and travel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
  • The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently.
