Job Description

  • As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs within the organization.
  • You will work closely with the HR team, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training needs, develop effective training materials, and deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Your goal will be to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance to support organizational growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop learning objectives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design and develop engaging and effective learning materials, including training modules, presentations, e-learning courses, and job aids.
  • Implement and deliver training programs using various methods such as instructor-led training, virtual classrooms, webinars, and self-paced online modules.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, ensuring participant involvement and knowledge retention.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback to measure learning outcomes and make improvements.
  • Continuously update and improve existing training materials and programs based on feedback and emerging trends.
  • Research and recommend external training resources, vendors, and tools to supplement internal training offerings.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to reinforce learning transfer and application on the job.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in learning and development.
  • Support the implementation of learning management systems (LMS) and other training-related platforms.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the organization's overall learning and development strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. A relevant master's Degree is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of Proven work experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Experience in designing and delivering a variety of training methodologies, including e-learning, blended learning, and instructor-led training.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to collect, analyze, and interpret training data and metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality training materials.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
