We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Role

  • New business prospecting, account planning and sign ups across mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Building a pipeline of prospects for the sales team by using a number of novel strategies.
  • Engaging, building and maintaining key contact and stakeholder relationships with clients.
  • Nurturing prospective clients through the sales journey, and making Earnipay top of the agenda for Finance & People Operations services.
  • Collaboration with marketing on lead generation activities.
  • Inspire the team by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports
  • Derive meaningful insights from sales report and share insights during the weekly, monthly sales strategy session
  • Collect product feedback from clients/prospects and share these feedback to the relevant department for action.
  • Segment target clients to achieve expected results
  • Use marketing data to refine for actionable sales insights and strategy
  • Prioritize target clients on a quarterly basis depending on the need of the business and agreed ICP.
  • Ensure sales targets/ clients are in compliance with our ICP and obtain approvals for exceptions.
  • Use the client success report to inform the next sales actions
  • Be an ambassador and advocate for Earnipay by sharing your passion and knowledge with customers, contacts and prospects.

Must have skills

  • Be a Master Closer: The ability to quickly build rapport and genuine relationships with people.
  • A positive and energetic approach to each day.
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills. Process-oriented nature with attention to detail 
  • You are not afraid of taking big tasks and making them your own 
  • A desire to truly listen and understand how you can help people. 
  • A team player that can engage cross-functionally and contribute to best practice.

Good to have skills:

  • Ideally, experience in technology/HR sales 
  • Start-up experience will be extremely helpful to quickly acclimate
