Job Title: Sales Supervisor

Locations: Federal Capital Territory - Abuja (FCT), Anambra & Kano

Overview

  • As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of sales representatives to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • You will play a crucial role in training and coaching the sales team, monitoring performance, and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • The Sales Supervisor ensures the team's success by fostering a positive work environment, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting our products.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Set sales goals, targets, and performance expectations for the sales team, aligning them with the company's objectives.
  • Monitor and assess individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance for improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to maximize revenue generation and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential customers, sales opportunities, and key accounts, ensuring effective territory coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including wholesalers, retailers, and key stakeholders in the shisha and tobacco industry.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends awareness.
  • Coordinate sales activities, promotions, and events to create brand awareness, increase sales volume, and drive customer engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports on team performance, sales trends, market insights, and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing and Supply Chain, to ensure effective communication and coordination of sales efforts.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, product knowledge, and market trends related to shisha and tobacco products.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism within the team.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Sales Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Solid sales acumen, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with the shisha and tobacco market in Nigeria is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Remuneration

  • Salary:
    • N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly (Abuja)
    • N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly (Onitsha)
    • N60,000 - N70,000 Monthly (Kano).
