Job Description

  • The Online Sales Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of online sales representatives, driving e-commerce sales, and ensuring a seamless online customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and managed a team of online sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Set clear sales targets and motivate the team to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the online sales team.
  • Develop and implement e-commerce sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to optimize the online shopping experience.
  • Identify and leverage new online sales channels and platforms.
  • Monitor and improve the online customer journey, from website navigation to checkout.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling online promotions and campaigns.
  • Ensure prompt and effective responses to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Track and report on online sales performance, conversion rates, and customer retention.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance online sales and profitability.
  • Analyze data to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
  • Oversee the online product catalog, ensuring accurate listings, pricing, and availability.
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to highlight key products and promotions.
  • Utilize analytics tools to gather insights into customer behavior and preferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's Degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in online sales management, preferably in the food or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online customer behavior.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
