We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Lagos

Report To: HR Manager

Job Brief

  • This post holder will have overall responsibility and line management for Operations, administration, and HR functions for VISIONJOB 24/7,
  • The HRO will work under the supervision of the HR Manager to ensure VISION JOB 24/7 is compliant with labor laws and in line with best practices. The post holder is also responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the Nigeria office and field offices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  • Develop training and development programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  • Management of the HRIS system.
  • Any other duties assigned by the HR Manager.
  • Manage the HRIS System.
  • Management of outsourced staff.

Qualification

  • Minimum Educational standard: B.Sc / HND in Business Administration & Economics, Industrial Relations, or relevant field; further training will be a plus.
  • HR Certification will be an added advantage (E.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute, CIPM and others.

Experience:

  • Minimum Working Experience: Four (4) Years and above.

Job Requirements, Skills & Attitude:

  • Consulting Experience is a must.
  • Manufacturing Experience will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, HRIS, training & development, etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
