- You will work closely with the Sales Manager and the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the agro business sector.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales goals.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our agro products and services.
- Be a subject matter expert to provide guidance and information to customers and the sales team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors in the agro business sector.
- Use market insights to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Prepare regular sales reports and updates for the Sales Manager and senior management.
- Monitor sales metrics and provide insights into areas for improvement.
- Assist in the training and development of the sales team, helping them enhance their agro business knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in the agro business sector, preferably in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- A self-motivated and results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
