Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Business Manager.
  • In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, fostering key relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency within the location with a proven track record of achieving business targets, developing creative solutions for clients, and managing operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue targets for TV and Radio operations.
  • Develop compelling value propositions, presentations, and proposals.
  • Coordinate sales strategies with the Marketing Team.
  • Increase brand visibility through effective marketing strategies.
  • Foster relationships with agencies, APCON, and other partners.
  • Drive the TV and Radio team to achieve revenue goals.
  • Review, scrutinize, and develop operational process flows.
  • Ensure clear understanding of financial aspects and impact of contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and transaction procedures.
  • Develop creative solutions for clients through sponsorship and advertising.
  • Build and manage a strong client and agency network.
  • Attract new clients and generate additional revenues.
  • Develop and maintain a revenue spreadsheet for reporting and forecasting.
  • Coordinate and manage TV and Radio operations effectively in the location.
  • Undertake other duties as required and commensurate with the grade and title of the job.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the media industry with 3 years in leadership
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of TV and Radio operations, advertising, and sponsorship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team toward achieving common goals.

Salary
N350,000 / month.
