Overview
- We are on the hunt for a results-driven Acquisitions Manager to spearhead our retailer acquisition initiatives. This strategic role involves leading a team dedicated to expanding our retail partnerships, employing a data-centric approach to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will be adept at utilizing CRM platforms to inform strategy, track progress, and drive sales success.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition Strategy Development:
- Design and implement targeted retailer acquisition strategies that align with company objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to pinpoint new opportunities and understand competitive dynamics.
CRM Leadership:
- Ensure the CRM system is optimally utilized across the team for tracking engagements and managing retailer relationships.
- Leverage CRM data to drive strategic decisions and refine acquisition efforts.
Team Management and Development:
- Lead a team of acquisition officers, setting performance goals, and providing mentorship to achieve maximum productivity.
- Assess training needs and develop programs to enhance team skills in sales and CRM utilization.
Data-Driven Insights and Reporting:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for acquisition activities, utilizing data insights for strategy optimization.
- Prepare detailed reports on acquisition performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and data teams to ensure a cohesive approach to retailer acquisition.
- Share insights across departments to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Performance Tracking and Optimization:
- Track the acquisition funnel and identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices in sales and acquisition to enhance conversion rates and improve the overall sales cycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or customer acquisition roles.
- Demonstrated ability in managing sales teams and achieving growth targets.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
