Founded in 1983 and based in Washington, DC, CIPE is active in 80 countries with a worldwide network of civil society and private sector partners, and field offices and representatives in nearly 30 countries. In nearly 40 years, CIPE has carried out close to 2,000 projects in over 100 countries.
