Description

  • Exciting opportunity for a Line Cook in our tapas bar, responsible for the precise preparation of tapas dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team, manage station efficiency, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards. Ideal candidates have proven line cook experience, adaptability, and a passion for cooking

Responsibilities
Food Preparation:

  • Execute the preparation and cooking of tapas dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.

Station Management:

  • Manage a specific stations in the kitchen, coordinating with other head chef for smooth service.
  • Keep the station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Tapas Chef and other staff to maintain a seamless workflow.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes to meet culinary standards.
  • Address any discrepancies and report to the Tapas Chef.

Adherence to Standards:

  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations during all stages of food preparation.

Efficiency and Speed:

  • Work efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely preparation of tapas orders.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to meet service demands.

Menu Knowledge:

  • Familiarize yourself with the tapas menu, including ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with serving staff to fulfill customer requests accurately.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 2 years experience.
  • Proven experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a tapas or small plates setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
  • Experienced in food safety and sanitation.
  • Basic culinary training or relevant experience.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new recipes and techniques.
