We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Sales / Growth

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Head of Sales will lead our client’s company, which is a retail luxury property fittings and fixtures brand. The job holder will oversee a talented sales team and ensure the long and short-term profitability of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strategic sales plans aligned with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Set sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Open new sales outlets and ensure a positive return on investment.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by staying current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Develop actionable business strategies and plans in alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, in collaboration with the AGM
  • Demonstrate excellent consultative sales skills and a deep understanding of products and their benefits.
  • Monitor the performance of all products, and track and maintain records for inventory control, cost containment, and proper stock levels.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
  • Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves targets relative to growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration or a similar field
  • At least 10 years of working experience in a similar role
  • Must have experience leading a profitable sales team
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and conflict
  • Knowledge of project delivery methodology
  • Ability to delegate and manage multiple operations effectively
  • Ability to assess the operational effectiveness of employees
  • Possess good written and oral communication skills to support decisions
  • Conducts meetings and provides effective leadership to team members
