Job Title: Senior Fitter - Roll Assembly
Location: Sabon Wuse, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Lead the roll assembly team in the fabrication and maintenance of steel rolling equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to contribute insights for continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor junior fitters, fostering a culture of skill development and teamwork.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all assembly and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 7 - 10 years work experience.
- Proven experience as a Fitter in the steel industry.
- In-depth knowledge of roll assembly and steel rolling equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership abilities to guide and support the team effectively.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
