We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Asokoro, Abuja
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
- Researching potential vendors
- Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Prepare cost analyses
- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
- Retirement of all purchased items to account.
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
- Requisition and Purchase of cooking gas
Education & Training
- Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant fields with 3 - 4 years relevant work experience in hospitality or related field.
Skills & Abilities:
- Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of market research
- Solid organizational skills
- Attention to details.
