Procurement Officer at Atelier Boutique Hotel

Atelier is an upscale boutique hotel located in the residential district of Asokoro, Abuja. Our hotel seeks to meet the needs of the modern traveller while providing a uniquely luxurious and curated sensory experience to surprise and delight you.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Asokoro, Abuja
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
• Researching potential vendors
• Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
• Prepare cost analyses
• Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
• Retirement of all purchased items to account.
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
• Requisition and Purchase of cooking gas

Education & Training

• Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant fields with 3 - 4 years relevant work experience in hospitality or related field.

Skills & Abilities:

• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of market research
• Solid organizational skills
• Attention to details.
