We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ikeja Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

Main Functions

  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Negotiate deals
  • Marketing the Brand for further awareness
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
  • Coordinate the front office and backoffice team of the business for effectiveness and efficiency

Key Performance Indicators

  • Meeting monthly sales revenue target and growth in revenue generally
  • Excellent and consistent product quality
  • Positive reviews and feedback from events and clients
  • Excellence in OSA
  • Client retention
  • Profit margin
  • Staff Management.

Person Profile / Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager or a relevant role
  • Experience in outdoor catering is vital and non-negotiable
  • Market knowledge
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency in English
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
