Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking to hire for the role of Social Media Manager. The ideal candidate must be savvy with the major social media platforms.
  • As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our brand’s views creatively.
  • Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of traffic and customer engagement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies
  • Create and coordinate original and engaging multimedia content across multiple social platforms - audio, pictures, videos, and graphic designs
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences.
  • Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools
  • Engage with the audience via the comments section and DM (escalate inquiries and requests to the Manager promptly)
  • Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms
  • Undertake audience research and identify consumer trends to help with planning social media campaigns
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and loyalty
  • Develop, set up, monitor, and report on paid advertising campaigns
  • Manage and track budgets for social media activities
  • Engage other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within the company (in-house roles)

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Degree in Marketing or a relevant field
  • Must be a resident of Lagos
  • 2-3 years of work experience
  • Savvy with major social media platforms
  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.

Experience:

  • Social media management: 3 years (Required)

Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 / month.
