We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Monitor industry developments and consumer behavior to inform strategic decision-making and business development strategies.
  • Identify potential target markets, segments, and clients for outreach and engagement.
  • Present proposals to potential clients in a compelling and persuasive manner, highlighting the benefits and competitive advantages of our media solutions.
  • Conduct interviews
  • Attending seminars, conferences and fairs
  • Generate ideas for stories
  • Keeping up to date with trends and developments relating to the magazine's subject matter

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the media industry.
  • Strong understanding of media platforms, advertising solutions, and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
