Job Title: Food and Beverages Officer

Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverages Officer to join our team in the hotel and hospitality industry.
  • The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in food and beverages management, along with the necessary educational qualifications. As a Food and Beverages Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of food and beverage operations within our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with quality and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and maintaining stock of food and beverage supplies, while minimizing wastage.
  • Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage expenses, labor costs, and other operational expenses, to achieve financial targets.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate food and beverage staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus, ensuring a variety of high-quality food and beverage offerings to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management within the hotel and hospitality industry.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in hotel and hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, purchasing, cost control, and quality management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering a memorable dining experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to food and beverage operations.
