Job Title: Microbiologist / Coordinator (Milk Collection Center Coordinator)
Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Tasks
- Responsible for collection of milk and proper labelling of samples for microbial analysis and retention
- Carrying out microbial analysis and interpretation of microbial result of the samples collected.
- Implement Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) in the laboratory
- Ensure equipments are clean and calibrated on daily basis; report any malfunctioning equipment.
- Responsible for decontamination, washing and sterilization of glass wares use for analysis.
- Responsible for Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) /Cleaning Out of Place (COP) and ensure proper documentation in CIP record.
- Responsible for swab test, pathogen monitoring test and cleaning validation test as required.
- Drive Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Hygiene Practice (GHPs), Cleaning and Sanitation of the facility
- Ensure prompt reporting and proper documentation of the laboratory activities and ensure all processes related documents are up to date
- Responsible for functionality of all the hygiene stations and ensures soap and hand sanitizers are available at all post as required
- Facilitates Health Safety and Environment program of the company
- Carrying out other assignement as may be assigned by the management periodically.
Qualifications
- B.Sc, B.Tech or HND in Food Technology, Microbiology and Chemistry
- Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in manufacturing companies.
- Analytical and documentation skills are compulsory.
