We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Microbiologist / Coordinator (Milk Collection Center Coordinator)

Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Tasks

• Responsible for collection of milk and proper labelling of samples for microbial analysis and retention
• Carrying out microbial analysis and interpretation of microbial result of the samples collected.
• Implement Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) in the laboratory
• Ensure equipments are clean and calibrated on daily basis; report any malfunctioning equipment.
• Responsible for decontamination, washing and sterilization of glass wares use for analysis.
• Responsible for Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) /Cleaning Out of Place (COP) and ensure proper documentation in CIP record.
• Responsible for swab test, pathogen monitoring test and cleaning validation test as required.
• Drive Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Hygiene Practice (GHPs), Cleaning and Sanitation of the facility
• Ensure prompt reporting and proper documentation of the laboratory activities and ensure all processes related documents are up to date
• Responsible for functionality of all the hygiene stations and ensures soap and hand sanitizers are available at all post as required
• Facilitates Health Safety and Environment program of the company
• Carrying out other assignement as may be assigned by the management periodically.

Qualifications

• B.Sc, B.Tech or HND in Food Technology, Microbiology and Chemistry
• Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in manufacturing companies.
• Analytical and documentation skills are compulsory.
