Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager

Job Description

  • The Senior Marketing and Sales Manager at our client organization will lead the marketing and sales team to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing and sales within the alternative energy sector.
  • The Senior Marketing and Sales Manager will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, manage sales activities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities.

Sales Management:

  • Lead and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotions.
  • Measure and report on campaign effectiveness.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Product Development and Positioning:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to align products with market needs.
  • Position products effectively to maximize market penetration.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget.
  • Monitor and control expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing marketing and sales team.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve marketing and sales outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience
Education:

  • BSc/HND degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and sales management.
  • Proven track record in the alternative/green energy sector.

Skills / Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and digital marketing tools.
  • Key Attributes    Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
