About the Role

  • We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our SME team.
  • This role is crucial in driving the growth of our SME platform by creating awareness, demonstrating the platform’s features, and building strong relationships with potential clients.
  • The Sales Executive will focus on proactive outreach and face-to-face interactions.

Responsibilities
Prospecting and Outreach:

  • Identify and target potential SME clients through various channels.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings, calls, and networking to build a robust sales pipeline.

Product Demonstrations:

  • Conduct engaging and informative demos of our SME platform to potential clients.
  • Clearly communicate the benefits and features of our platform to business owners and decision-makers.

Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospect SMEs, providing them with excellent customer service and support.

Market Awareness and Promotion:

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to promote the SME platform.
  • Create awareness of the platform’s features through presentations, webinars, and other promotional activities.

Sales Target Achievement:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress to the SME Product Head.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure client feedback is incorporated into future product enhancements.
  • Coordinate with the business development team to ensure a seamless handover of new clients and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics)
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in SME banking/lending, sales, or business development within the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in HNI sales, preferably in the financial services or technology sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to conduct engaging product demos.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as well as meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to spend a significant amount of time outside the office visiting clients meeting prospects in person, and attending and organizing events.
