Job Description

  • As a Sales Executive, your role involves a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.
  • Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to independently develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all aspects of sales operations, focusing on fostering valuable, long-term customer relationships and attaining sales targets.
  • Learn and stay up to date with the latest trends and requirements in the food ingredients industry. Apply this knowledge to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with customers, both new and existing. Cultivate rapport, trust, and credibility to generate sales opportunities and foster customer loyalty.
  • Strengthen and broaden the customer base by establishing and nurturing relationships within the community. Identify potential opportunities for growth and leverage these connections to expand business prospects.
  • Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely visit reports detailing customer interactions, sales activities, and progress toward objectives. Maintain effective documentation to facilitate future analysis and decision-making.
  • Communicate proficiently with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and partners. Employ clear and concise communication techniques to convey information, address concerns, and facilitate successful collaboration.

Requirements

  • BSc or HND in Food Science/Technology
  • 2-4 years of B2B experience in selling food ingredients with a chemical distribution company
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Prior experience of working in R&D, QC will be an advantage
