Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas industry, particularly downstream sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and opportunities for growth.
- Create and present business proposals, contracts, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and close deals with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s business reach.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights to senior management.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and market positioning to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Continuously seek opportunities for business growth and expansion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas market, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
