Job Title: Lead, BSS Support Services (Telecoms)
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Role Overview
- Lead BSS will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and performance of our BSS infrastructure, which includes billing, charging, CRM, SIM Registration, MNP, inventory management, Mediation and Carrier & Wholesale and other related systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of BSS incidents and problems.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and effective support.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BSS operations. Any other duties assigned.
- Planning preventive maintenance schedule for BSC locations Ensuring network uptime
- Ensuring effective fault management in case of fault occurrence Reporting and documenting the status at the end of scheduled activity
- Preparation of low level design documentation for change requests (configuration changes, new code, parameters changes, etc.) according to requests sent by Engineering Customer Department. The implementation of those changes is not OE team responsibility. Some of those changes are recurrent.

Educational and Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- At least 6 years of experience in mobile network implementation and operation
Required Competencies:
- The post holder must be able to demonstrate appropriate skills and experience which will enable him/her to deliver in line with the main purpose and key responsibilities of the role.
- More specifically, the following competencies are required to succeed in the role:
- In-depth knowledge of BSS domains, including billing, charging, CRM, and network management.
- Experience with BSS platforms and technologies, such as Oracle, Ericsson, or Huawei.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Familiarity with network management systems, including fault management, performance management, and configuration management.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and RDBMS and Scripting skill.
- Hands technical experience supporting with industry processes such as SIM registration, Mobile Number Portability, SIM Swap etc.
- Experience in interconnect settlement process and post-paid operations management.
- Experience with data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
