Job Description

  • A Student Recruitment Officer within a student recruitment agency typically has a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at attracting, recruiting, and assisting students in enrolling in educational programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote educational institutions and their programs to prospective students.
  • Visit high schools, colleges, and other educational institutions to give presentations and workshops.
  • Represent the agency and its partner institutions at education fairs, expos, and other recruitment events
  • Build and maintain relationships with guidance counsellors, teachers, and other influencers in the education sector.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with educational institutions, locally.
  • Provide one-on-one counselling to prospective students and their families, helping them understand their educational options.
  • Guide students through the application process, including help with filling out forms, writing personal statements, and preparing for interviews.
  • Assist international students with visa applications and understanding immigration requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, applications, and enrollments using a CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, outcomes, and market trends.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Regularly follow up with prospective students via phone calls, emails, and social media to maintain interest and provide ongoing support.
  • Develop content for brochures, newsletters, and digital platforms to keep prospective students informed and engaged.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to refine recruitment strategies.
  • Gather feedback from students and partners to improve recruitment processes and services.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
  • Promote a culturally sensitive approach to recruitment, recognizing the diverse backgrounds of students.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and stay informed about changes in the education sector.

Requirements

  • BS.c / HND in a relevant field
  • 2 - 4 years of experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in educational services is an added advantage.

Salary
N230,000 monthly.
