Havigo Consulting Limited - Our client, the Young Stores (TYS), is a leading distributor of pharmaceutical products for many brands and manufacturers in Nigeria and abroad. With the head office located in Ibadan, The Young Stores seeks to be a one stop shop where anything medical and pharmaceutical can be sourced in wholesale quantities and at affordable prices. TYS operates large warehouses and a chain of sales point to serve our teeming customer base from across Nigeria.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Upsell and cross-sell our goods to customers
  • Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls.
  • Generate sales leads.
  • Improving customer service experience, engage customers and facilitate organic growth of our customer base
  • Taking ownership of customers issues and following problems through to resolution
  • Setting clear customer service goals, and deploying strategies aimed at achieiving those goals
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Daily/weekly customer service reports to the management for decision making

Qualifications

  • Minimum of BSc in Business Administration or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of two (2) years proven experience as a Customer Service Manager, Retail Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Experience in providing customer service support
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
  • Proficiency in English, and Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools
  • Ability to think strategically and to lead
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
