Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Upsell and cross-sell our goods to customers
- Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls.
- Generate sales leads.
- Improving customer service experience, engage customers and facilitate organic growth of our customer base
- Taking ownership of customers issues and following problems through to resolution
- Setting clear customer service goals, and deploying strategies aimed at achieiving those goals
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Daily/weekly customer service reports to the management for decision making
Qualifications
- Minimum of BSc in Business Administration or other relevant fields
- Minimum of two (2) years proven experience as a Customer Service Manager, Retail Manager or Assistant Manager
- Experience in providing customer service support
- Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
- Proficiency in English, and Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools
- Ability to think strategically and to lead
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
