Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking a talented Digital/ product Marketer to market our software products on our social media platforms.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with the media team to create engaging content, manage posts, and respond to our followers.
  • Your goal will be to maintain our company's image consistently to achieve our marketing objectives.
  • To succeed in this position, you must possess a thorough understanding of various social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics to optimize campaigns.
  • As a digital Marketer, you should stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
  • Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills and be able to convey our company's views creatively.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage our target audience, and drive business objectives for our company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
  • Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and shareable multimedia content
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to convey brand messages effectively.
  • Foster community engagement through online forums, groups, and social media communities.

As a Product marketer you will:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, including positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and creative, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Create compelling product content, including product descriptions, sales collateral, and customer case studies.
  • Manage product pricing and packaging, and develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and execute demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and advertising.
  • Analyze and report on product performance metrics, including sales, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends, and use insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize product marketing strategies to improve effectiveness and drive business growth.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 years experience in digital/product marketing of software products
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Experience in writing sales pitch.
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing and social media.

Salary
N400,000 monthly (gross).
