Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations at Summit Hotel and Apartment.
- In this role, you will oversee the hotel’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless functioning of all systems and applications that support our operations.
- You will be responsible for managing the IT team, implementing innovative technology solutions, and safeguarding our data security, all while enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage IT Infrastructure:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the hotel’s IT systems, ensuring reliability and performance across networks, servers, and hardware.
Lead IT Team:
- Mentor and manage the IT staff, fostering a collaborative environment and providing training and support on IT-related issues and systems.
Implement Technology Solutions:
- Assess and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency and guest services, working closely with vendors for software and hardware integration.
Ensure Data Security:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
Manage IT Budget:
- Prepare and oversee the IT budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Enhance Guest Experience:
- Utilize technology to improve guest services, such as Wi-Fi, mobile apps, and in-room technology, while gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Provide Technical Support:
- Offer prompt technical support for hotel staff and guests, maintaining a ticketing system for tracking and managing IT requests.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop long-term IT strategies that align with the hotel’s goals, staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 4+ years of IT management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, and data security protocols.
- Proficient in project and budget management.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., PMS, POS).
