Job Title: Food Supervisor

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Team Management:

• Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and servers, ensuring efficient operation.
• Conduct training and development programs for team members.

Quality Control:

• Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.

Menu Planning:

• Assist in developing and updating menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
• Collaborate with chefs to create appealing and cost-effective dishes.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory levels of food and supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for ordering and receiving deliveries.

Customer Service:

• Address guest inquiries and feedback related to food and service.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent food quality and service.

Cost Control:

• Monitor food costs and wastage, implementing strategies to minimize expenses.
• Assist in budgeting and financial reporting related to food services.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of food safety practices and inspections.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in menu planning and cost management.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
