Job Summary
- As a Center Manager, you’ll need to wear many different hats; the planner, the problem-solver, the educator and the counselor being a few of them. You should have the skills to communicate with various people, handle budgets and logistics, and keep all educational programs running.
- The Centre Manager serves in a leadership role responsible formanaging center operations, and provides leadership in strategic and operational planning. He /She leads the development of center initiatives, and improvements for effective delivery of center programmes and services.
- The typical duties of a Center operations manager will include designing and implementing sales processes, policies, and systems; managing the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting; analyzing sales performance, trends, and metrics; providing sales training, coaching, and support; evaluating and optimizing the sales.
- Your main Job functions will revolve around 4 key areas of focus, (1) leading with example at operations in all departments, hence you need to be best (2) Business / Sales (3) Accounts (4) Problem solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Keep track of students’ educational progress and performance.
- Assist school administrator in running the school in an effective manner.
- Monitor student fee dues and attendance.
- Maintain databases relating to students and their academic progress.
- Organize and control inventory controls of educational material, tools and kits.
- Assist school administrator in conducting cultural events, sports and games.
- Assist teachers and staff in providing simulative learning experiences to students.
- Communicate students’ educational performance to their parents.
- Initiate and implement safety procedures in school premises.
- Ensure compliance of school guidelines, principles, laws and rules.
- Coordinating all administrative process
- Managing budgets, policies and events.
- Resolving conflicts or other issues as they occur
- Manage budgets, logistics and events or meetings
- Handle scheduling, record-keeping and reporting
- Ensure the school complies with relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and run educational programs
- Hire, train and advise staff
- Counsel students when needed
- Resolve conflicts and other issues
- Communicate with parents, regulatory bodies and the public
- Have a hand in the creation of the school curriculum
- Implement actions that improve the school and the quality of education (e.g building renovations, new guidelines for students, new subjects)
- Help shape and uphold the vision of the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retain Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a Managerial role, preferably within the relevant industry.
Important Requirements and skills:
- In all circumstances you need to lead from front, the company expects the Manager to move out, show light, consistently keep the sales team active, guide them on field & so as how to reach to maximum number of people.
- Incase of new center business & operations, all facilities will come after students /sales, you need to create wealth of student enrollment at center, by moving out to find avenues of sales, by events, promotions, at schools, colleges, institution, residential areas.
- Sales targets should be met month to month on top most priority.
- You should be independently charged with knowledge functions, hence make sure you have good hand son accounts.
- You will look for corporate trainings & other legitimate ways of increasing revenues to the center.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly (Take home shall be over N450,000 to N500,000 with incentives & other benefits).
