We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Consumer Insights Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Reports to: Head of R&D

Job Summary

  • The consumer insights analyst will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and presenting insights about our target consumer base to support business decisions.
  • This role involves conducting primary and secondary research, interpreting data, and turning findings into actionable recommendations that enhance marketing strategies, product development, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Research:

  • Design and execute primary research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to gather consumer insights.
  • Leverage secondary research sources to understand market trends, the competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze consumer data to identify trends, preferences, and pain points.
  • Segment consumer data to understand distinct groups and develop targeted strategies.
  • Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.

Reporting and Insights Presentation:

  • Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights for marketing, product, and executive teams.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that communicate insights, trends, and recommendations effectively.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and other teams to align research initiatives with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement insights into campaigns, product features, and customer experiences.

Trend Monitoring:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities to help the company adapt to changing consumer preferences.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Experimental Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Business, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience in B2C or eCommerce industries is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • knowledge of survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and familiarity with CRM systems.

  • Ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
