Job Description
- The HR Officer is responsible for managing human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
- The role ensures that the workforce remains productive and engaged while aligning with the organization's goals.
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection:
- Develop and post job advertisements on relevant platforms.
- Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interview processes.
- Conduct reference checks and prepare offer letters for selected candidates.
Employee Onboarding and Orientation:
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees, including orientation programs.
- Ensure all employee documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster communication.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process by guiding managers and employees.
- Identify training needs and recommend professional development initiatives.
Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure the organization adheres to labor laws and internal policies.
- Update and implement HR policies and procedures as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and information.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and queries.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and professional development programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
HR Data and Reporting:
- Maintain HR databases and employee records.
- Generate reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover and recruitment.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 5-7 years of work experience.
