We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Officer

Locations: Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The HR Officer is responsible for managing human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
  • The role ensures that the workforce remains productive and engaged while aligning with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection:

  • Develop and post job advertisements on relevant platforms.
  • Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interview processes.
  • Conduct reference checks and prepare offer letters for selected candidates.

Employee Onboarding and Orientation:

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees, including orientation programs.
  • Ensure all employee documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster communication.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance appraisal process by guiding managers and employees.
  • Identify training needs and recommend professional development initiatives.

Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure the organization adheres to labor laws and internal policies.
  • Update and implement HR policies and procedures as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and information.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and queries.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions and professional development programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

HR Data and Reporting:

  • Maintain HR databases and employee records.
  • Generate reports on HR metrics such as employee turnover and recruitment.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 5-7 years of work experience.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
