Job Description
- The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to hotel guests in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
- This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
- The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology, customer service, and creating a memorable guest experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Drink preparation and Service:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
- Provide menu recommendations and engage with guests to create a personalized drinking experience.
Customer Service:
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at the bar.
- Handle guest complaints or requests in a professional and prompt manner.
Bar Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the glassware, equipment, and ingredients.
- Replenish bar supplies, including liquor, garnishes, and ice, as needed.
Stock and Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory of beverages and bar supplies.
- Assist in receiving and stocking deliveries, ensuring proper storage and rotation of stock.
Health and safety Compliance:
- Follow all legal and safety regulations related to alcohol service, including checking IDs and serving responsibly.
- Adhere to hygiene standards for drink preparation and cleanliness.
Requirements
- Courses / Qualification: OND
- Relevant Experience: 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
- Required Age: 25-35 years
Special Skills & Key Behavioural Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role in the food and beverage industry.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Good knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Must be resident in City of interest.
