Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive

Locations: Lagos and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in the upstream Oil & Gas sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and prime movers in International Oil Companies (IOCs), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) firms, and other relevant industry players.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities. Market Intelligence and Strategy
  • Monitor industry trends, gather intelligence on upcoming projects, and track competitor activities to align strategies with market demands.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and client feedback.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs. Lead contract negotiations and manage the process to closure. Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Coordinate with technical, operational, and support teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with client expectations.
  • Foster teamwork to create value-driven solutions for clients. Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of business activities, including client interactions, sales pipeline, and closed deals.
  • Regularly update management on performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement. Personal Development and Team Contribution
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of high performance.

Specific Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Access to key contacts/prime movers, especially in the IOCs and EPCs, industry knowledge and projects monitoring and intelligence gathering.
