Job Summary
- The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s operations, ensuring efficient processes, profitability, and exceptional customer service.
- The GM develops and implements strategic plans, manages budgets, leads teams, and ensures compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Job Description
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with overall business strategy
- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to clients while minimizing costs and inefficiencies.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and reduce expenses.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate staff across multiple departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Recruit, train, and develop employees to enhance performance and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Key Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership role.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports.
- Proficiency in logistics software and technology.
