Job Summary

  • The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for attracting, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of the organization.
  • This role involves developing and executing effective recruitment strategies, maintaining a positive candidate experience, and ensuring that the hiring process aligns with organizational goals and values.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Post job advertisements on relevant platforms and manage job boards.
  • Conduct proactive sourcing using social media, professional networks, and databases.

Screening and Selection:

  • Review applications, resumes, and cover letters to identify suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and schedule interviews.
  • Coordinate and participate in panel interviews with hiring managers.

Candidate Management:

  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Communicate effectively with applicants, providing updates and feedback.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Partner with department heads to understand their staffing requirements.
  • Assist in creating accurate and detailed job descriptions.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices.

Onboarding and Orientation:

  • Assist in onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions and initial training programs.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies during recruitment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities.
  • Prepare and present recruitment reports and metrics to management.

Employer Branding:

  • Promote the organization's employer brand through social media and other channels.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities.

Requirement

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
